Maika Monroe and Brandon Sklenar are the magnetic leads of the film Vegas: A Love Story

Lights, camera, heat—Maika and Brandon Sklenar are officially stepping into the spotlight as the magnetic leads of the upcoming romantic thriller Vegas: A Love Story, helmed by acclaimed director Ramin Bahrani. And as if that pairing wasn’t already sizzling enough, the film ups the ante with an all-star ensemble featuring Paul Dano, Michael Shannon, and Judy Greer.

Set against the raw, neon-lit pulse of Las Vegas, the story follows Dillon, a fiercely independent graphic designer living on the edge—quite literally out of her car—who unexpectedly finds connection with Freddy, a hardworking welder and devoted single father. But love never comes easy. The return of Dillon’s ex, Ryder, threatens to shatter the fragile romance, while Freddy’s in-laws step in, determined to protect their grandson at all costs. Love, secrets, and survival collide in a city that never sleeps.

The film is backed by A/Vantage Pictures, Sugar Rush Pictures, and Noruz Films, with Juniper Productions leading financing. Touted by producers as Bahrani’s most commercial film to date, the project also marks a major milestone as the first lead production under A/Vantage since its launch.
